Domande frequenti

Come elimino i miei dati?

Come esporto e importo i dati in CSV?

In Impostazioni > Dati tocca "Esporta CSV".

Elimina chiede conferma.

Come rivedo l'introduzione?

In Impostazioni > Informazioni tocca "Rivedi l'introduzione".

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete my data?

In Settings > Data, tap "Delete all data": this removes all subscriptions. To remove your settings too, delete the app: iOS removes all the data it stored on the device. iCloud or computer backups may contain app data, according to your iOS backup settings. With iCloud sync on, "Delete all data" also removes the subscriptions from your other devices.

How do notifications work?

Reminders are scheduled on the device, with the advance notice and at the time you choose in the settings. They do not go through any server. To receive them you must grant notification permission when iOS asks. If you set a free trial you also get a reminder before it ends and one on the day.

Why doesn't the app ask for my bank login?

Subchest does not connect to bank accounts and does not read data from other apps. The shortcuts to banks, wallets and installment services only open the official app or website of that service. You enter your subscriptions and installments yourself.

How do I export and import CSV?

In Settings > Data tap "Export CSV". The file opens in the iOS share sheet: choose where to save it, for example Files or AirDrop. Subchest does not send the file to anyone. With "Import CSV" you can bring a file exported by Subchest (in Italian or English), or your own file with at least a name and a price, back into the app. Duplicates and invalid rows are skipped and a summary is shown. Mortgage events and the price history are not in the CSV.

How does iCloud sync work?

In Settings > Data the "Sync with iCloud" switch (on by default) keeps your subscriptions in step across your devices with the same Apple ID, in your private iCloud. You need to be signed in to iCloud in iOS Settings. The developer cannot read that data. After changing the switch, close and reopen the app. To remove data already in iCloud, go to iOS Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage > Subchest.

How do I add a mortgage or a loan?

In the "New" tab choose "Mortgage" (or "Installments" for a purchase paid in installments). For a mortgage you enter the years, the financed amount and the annual rate (APR): the app calculates the payment, the total to repay, the interest and the end date. From the detail you can add rate changes and early repayments (by hand) and see the amortization schedule. The figures are indicative and do not replace your bank's schedule.

Can I split a subscription or mark a free trial?

Yes. In the form, "Split between" counts only your share in the totals. With "Free trial" the cost is 0 until the trial end date and you get reminders before the first charge.

How do I search for a subscription?

On the Dashboard, below the upcoming payments, the "Search subscriptions" field filters the list by name or website, together with the categories if you like. Search runs on your device.

How do I edit or delete a subscription?

Swipe a card to the left to show Edit and Delete. Tapping the open card closes it. The same actions are in the three-dot menu and on long press. Delete asks for confirmation.

How do I replay the introduction?

In Settings > About tap "Replay the introduction".

How do I leave a review?

In Settings > About tap "Rate the app": the App Store page opens where you can write a review. After some actions the app may also show the system rating request. You can ignore it.

What is the icon request?

To show a service logo, the app asks Google for the website icon, sending only the domain (for example example.com). Google also receives the device's IP address, as with any web request. Details are in the privacy policy.
