Informativa sulla privacy di Subchest
Data di entrata in vigore: 18 ottobre 2026.
Chi siamo
In breve:
- nome, prezzo, date di inizio e di rinnovo, durata, numero di rate, con quante persone dividi il costo, la fine di una prova gratuita, lo storico dei cambi di prezzo e, per un mutuo, importo, tasso ed eventuali estinzioni;
- categoria;
- il dominio del sito web, se lo indichi o lo scegli dal catalogo;
- il metodo di pagamento che selezioni da un elenco;
https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=<dominio>
Esportazione
I tuoi controlli

Subchest Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026.
Who we are
Subchest is an iPhone app developed by Mattia De Santis. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it is kept.
In short:
- Subchest has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party SDKs.
- The data you enter stays on your device and, if you leave sync on, in your private iCloud. The developer does not receive it.
- The only network request is the retrieval of a website icon, described in "What leaves your device".
What the app stores on your device
When you add or edit a subscription or installment plan, the app stores:
- name, price, start and renewal dates, duration, number of installments, how many people share the cost, the end of a free trial, the history of price changes and, for a mortgage, amount, rate and any prepayments;
- category;
- the website domain, if you enter one or choose one from the catalog;
- the payment method you select from a list;
- your profile name and settings (language, appearance, notifications, favorite apps, whether you have seen the introduction).
The data is kept in a local database and in the app's preferences on your device. If iCloud sync is on (Settings > Data, on by default), your subscriptions are also copied to the app's private database in iCloud, tied to your Apple ID, to keep your devices in step. Only you can access that database: the developer cannot read it and does not receive it. You can turn sync off in Settings > Data; remove data already in iCloud from iOS Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Storage > Subchest. Subchest has no server of its own.
What leaves your device
To show a service icon, the app requests an image from Google's favicon service at this address:
https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=<domain>
The domain is the one you typed or the one of the service you picked from the catalog. The app does not send the name, price or any other subscription data.
As with any web request, Google receives the requested domain and the device's IP address. Google's privacy policy applies.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. They do not go through any server, and they are not push notifications sent by the developer (iCloud sync uses silent Apple signals with no content). To receive them you must grant permission when iOS asks. You can change this in the iOS Settings app.
Rating the app
After some actions, for example when you add your third subscription, the app can ask for a rating with Apple's system dialog. Apple handles the rating and the text under its own privacy policy, and Subchest does not receive them. The app stores on your device only the version it has already asked for, so it does not ask twice. The "Rate the app" row in Settings > About opens the App Store page where you can write a review.
Widget
The widget, which you add yourself to the Home Screen or Lock Screen, shows a summary: the monthly total, the number of active subscriptions and, for the next payments (up to six), name, amount and date. To do this, the app copies this summary into an area shared between the app and its widget, on your device. The widget reads that area and does not use the network. The summary is not sent to any server or to the developer, and no other app can access it.
Deleting all data from Settings > Data empties the widget summary at the same time. Deleting the app also removes the shared area.
Export
You can export your subscriptions to a CSV file by tapping "Export CSV". The file goes through the iOS share sheet and goes wherever you choose, for example Files, AirDrop or a mail app. From that point the file is handled by that app or service. Subchest does not send it to anyone.
Shortcuts to banks and payment apps
Subchest shows shortcuts to apps and websites of banks, digital wallets and installment services, for example Revolut, Poste Italiane, Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit, N26, PayPal, Satispay, Klarna and Scalapay. Tapping one opens the official app of that service or its website.
Subchest does not connect to your accounts, does not read data from other apps and does not use Open Banking. What you do in another app or on another service's website is governed by that service's privacy policy.
The link to manage subscriptions opens the App Store settings of the system.
Your controls
- In Settings > Data, "Delete all data" removes all subscriptions. Your settings are kept. With iCloud on it also removes them from your other devices.
- Deleting the app removes all the data it stored on your device.
- Device backups (iCloud or a computer) may contain app data, according to your iOS backup settings. Deleting data inside the app does not change backups that already exist.
- You can turn off notifications in the iOS Settings app.
Children
Subchest is not directed to children and does not collect data from anyone, children included.
